RYA SAFE & FUN COURSE DETAILS:
RYA Safe and Fun Course is a requirement for all newly qualified Level 2 Racing Coaches, Dinghy Instructors, Keelboat Instructors, Windsurf Instructors, Wing Instructors and Senior Instructors to complete before their Instructor training course begins. Other centre staff and club volunteers may find the course useful. It is optional for RYA Powerboat Instructors and PWC Instructors.
RYA SAFE & FUN COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course is aimed at anyone who will be working with children or vulnerable adults in a RYA training environment, much of the advice and content is of course valuable for those working with children outside of these settings as well.
COURSE AIMS:
This online course will provide a basic level of knowledge and awareness of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, put into realistic scenarios that anyone could come across at their local sailing club or training centre.

There are no prerequisites for this course, but it is recommended that anybody working with children or vulnerable adults take it.
COURSE CONDITIONS:
You must have access to a PC, Mac or iPad and have a reasonable internet connection.
