Practical Training

RYA Practical courses take place from our Powerboat Centre in Bitterne Park, Southampton. We offer courses in three distinct practical disciplines (Powerboat, Motor Cruising and Personal Watercraft/PWC). The full range of power practical courses go from Powerboat Level 2, PWC Proficiency and RYA Day Skipper Power, through to Powerboat Advanced Instructor, Yachtmaster Power and Motor Cruising Instructor.

Our practical centre at Bitterne Park is 3 minutes walk from a train station, close to plenty of hotels and has free parking outside. Courses are run from Mariners Wharf, a private boat yard that we own 2 minutes walk away.Own boat tuition is available from any destination, globally and can often include RYA practical certificates.
