MCA Notice Of Eligibility NOE

What is an MCA Notice of Eligibility (NOE)?

Before sitting an MCA Deck or Engineering Officer Certificate of Competence (CoC) Oral Exam, the candidate must apply to the MCA for an Notice Of Eligibility (NOE). This is an application form where you are required to provide certificates, sea time and testimonials, (Master 200 is not required to evidence sea-time or provide testimonials). Once the MCA have accepted your application, they will issue your NOE by email, this is their confirmation that you may progress to a Part A online exam (Master 200 or OOW Unlimited) or an online Oral Exam (all other CoCs).

TRAINING RECORD BOOK (TRB)

If your NOE application requires you to submit a Training Record Book (TRB), You must retain scanned copies of the overview signature pages from the TRB and post the full physical book to the;
